Riker, being handsome and debonair like his Star Trek namesake and with a personality to die for, has won a major place in our hearts. His short stint in the show ring saw him win a number of Best of Breed and Class in Group awards even though he has a big bushy tail. Being a dog who always wants to please, he has left the show ring behind to concentrate on obedience/trialling. In 2006 he was placed in all of the obedience trials he entered. In four outings he received 4 first places to earn his CD title. He has also won trophies at both Atherton and Cairns kennel clubs for Highest Aggregate scores at trials. After a year off in 2007 we are hoping Riker will be heading for bigger things in obedience, jumping and agility trials in 2008. We sincerely thank Ben and Amanda Helps for entrusting us with our devoted companion.
